First time blogging.

This is the last day of November 2011, today I just found out that a man who is important in our area ( a weatherman on the local TV station) committed suicide Tuesday night and his wife found him in their home when she came home from work. he had a 3 yr old girl. he was always so funny and helped so much in the community with so many different causes and individuals. he was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. R.I.P. Don Harmon!!
My daughter-in-law went to the Dr. today and has a couple of cysts that they gave some meds to help her to feel better. I hope it works, I hate to see her in so much pain. I remember how it was when I had cysts etc.

I am a mother of 3 (all grown) and grandmother of 7 (from my kids). I have been married for over 21 years to my current husband. He had 2 sons with his ex wife and they have 5 kids. We see 5 of our grand kids all the time, 3 live with us and 2 live under 2 blocks away. My youngest son and his wife and their kids live with us, and my oldest (only daughter) lives down the road with her hubby and 2 kids. My grand kids are so much a part of my life and don't know what I would do without them.
Almost 2 years ago my hubby and I quit smoking, drinking coffee, and drinking tea made from leaves, and we   joined a church- which has become an extremely important in our lives. We are proud members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I have been a cancer survivor for the last 13 years and counting. I have multiple health problems and so does my hubby. 8 years ago my hubby had an aneurysm in the center of his frontal lobe and it caused 20+ years of memory loss and partial paralysis on the left side of his body, it also severed the nerve from his nose to his brain so he will never be able to smell again.
We have had many trials throughout our lives and marriage, but we have somehow always made it through.

I am stopping for now, and trying to figure out how I am going to use this blog. What I should do, write, etc.
